Wild For Wildlife's mission is to inspire conservation action by connecting people to wildlife. Wild For Wildlife believes that when people form a connection with wildlife, they grow to understand, appreciate, and want to protect it.

MEET JARROD

Wildlife Educator, Reptile Specialist, Conservation Advocate.

Hi I'm Jarrod. Wildlife has been my passion for as long as I can remember.

What started as a fascination with animals has grown into more than 5 years' professional experience working with wildlife and wildlife education.

Today I combine this experience with a passion for conservation and education to deliver engaging wildlife presentations that help people of all ages develop a greater appreciation and respect for Australia's incredible wildlife.

Attended a wildlife presentation at a residential property in lilydale. Show was well presnted and engaging for all age in our group. There was a wide ranges of native animals shown and spoken about with the ability to touch some of the animals which the kids got a real kick out of! Animals looked well care for and it was clear looking after animals and teaching our group was really important to Jarrod. With Ballarat Wildlife Park’s new reptile editions now on display, of course I had to make the trip to drop by and check them out. The Green Tree Pythons are looking phenomenal in their new setup and it was great to see a few familiar faces in freshly decorated habitats.

It was also really awesome to see Jarrod running the reptile demo and educational talk. Finding his rhythm infront of a crowd and sharing some really important information on the scaley species that many people outside of our reptile community might not be as familiar with.

Lovely little zoo with lots to see and do! The keeper Jarrod was absolutely amazing, best zoo keeper I've ever met at a zoo! He was so informative when asked about the different animals especially the reptiles, he definitely knows his stuff. It was probably the first time in a while I actually learnt something at the zoo instead of just looking at animals and for that I would highly recommend people come to this zoo as the keepers are super personable and willing to answer any questions and help you learn about the animals they are genuinely passionate about. Shout out to Jarrod for helping us have a great day!
